I've looked all over (including Amazon, eBay, and local suppliers) for better brass stock, and I can't find any. I ordered a 3 mm brass sheet from Amazon that looked fine in the pictures, but it wasn't perfectly flat and the thickness was inconsistent. The brass sheets I've gotten from Makera have all been perfectly flat, smooth, and square. It's very easy to machine.
